Features is the part of the site that attempts to look at aspects of the road network in more detail, having a look at what things are, why they are they and how they came about.

2006 saw the demise of this old favourite, a road that was unique and bizarre at the same time. This page takes a look at the rise and fall of this different part of the motorway network.

Perhaps Sheffield's most famous landmark, the Tinsley towers were demolished in August 2008. This page looks at the M1's former neighbour, as well as the viaduct that took the motorway within 17 metres of the towers.
