Welcome To The Site
Road to Nowhere hasn't been created to compete against other websites, but to run alongside. There's no politics, no campaigns. The site provides information to complement other facilities, providing additional information, whilst also having a little bit of fun. The site has been designed to be as accessible as possible, and work is continuing behind the scenes to continue this. You don't have to be interested in British roads just to have a look round! So please, take a look around. I hope you enjoy the site!
New this week
Well, something terrible happened at 3am on the 25th August. The M1 lost its perhaps most famous landmark, as the Tinsley towers were destroyed in an explosive demolition. But they live on here, over in the Features section. It had to be done!

The Cumberland Gap is almost closed, just a few
more months until the M6 extension is complete.
The site is undergoing continuous expansion, so please beware of incomplete bits and pieces. And if you have any suggestions or ideas for what to add to the site, any pictures you would like to submit, or perhaps you've spotted that a service area is actually a truck stop! If so, please get in touch! Please note that all photos are credited - if you hover your cursor over the photograph, a description appears, which also features the credit to the photographer.
