About the Road

The major route between London and Norfolk, this is a road with a big hole in it! Much of the route has been superseded by the M11, and as a result, the bypassed sections have been downgraded and renumbered.

However, much of the route remains, and still provides an important route over to Norwich, despite it not having the capacity it deserves - the city is the largest in the UK without a continuous dual carriageway link to London.
