About the Road

The A64 is the main trunk route across North Yorkshire, taking traffic from the M62 and Leeds over to York and the East Coast at Scarborough. The road follows the course of an old Roman Road that heads towards Bridlington from Chester, and forms the main route for the busy Yorkshire Coastliner bus service.
